OK, my monorhyme does have eight lines, but that is all there is -- no more is coming tomorrow -- so it's still shorter. :)

I thought I saw a patch of blue
I looked again, it was true,

Patches of blue
Breaking through.
What was a rain-weary girl to do?
I ran outside and yelled “yahoo”!
