1.     Once upon a time, there were black and white birds.  There were puffins and there were penguins, and they were both black and white.  The puffins had sad faces, and the penguins had happy faces.  The puffins had sad face, but they might have been happy – I don’t know.  And the penguins had happy faces because they were happy that they weren’t puffins.
