This one is from The Fairy Tale Treasury (very gentle translations of fairy tales). I think this fairy tale might be the basis for the opera (opus?) The Love of Three Oranges. Anyway, mine had a princess on a crystal hill holding three oranges.
Well it's very lovely and I look forward to reading the fairytale... uh... maybe next year sometime! Hans was very prolific!!! and I find it hard to read more than 2 of his aday! Somedays not even one, can be done! ;-)
Is this: The Princess on the Glass Hill a Norwegian fairy tale??? in the wiki synopsis the fruit were apples..?
