Kindergarten Note and Response #26

Notes Home From Kindergarten
Note 26

Dear Ms. K –

T always wants to draw on a new piece of paper.

-- Ms. X

Note 26 – Response

Dear Ms. X –

This doesn’t sound like much of a problem:  I always want to draw on a new piece of paper.  I would assume, since you are the adult, you are in charge of the paper and can limit the supply to T.  But, honestly, have you seen T’s drawings?  He should have as many pieces of paper as he needs.

Kindergarten Note and Response #24

Notes Home from Kindergarten
Note 24

Dear Ms. K –

T had a good day inside following directions.  He had a bad day outside throwing wood chips at another child.

-- Ms. X

Note 24– Response

Dear Ms. X –

So it was a draw?

Actually, since school starts at 7: 25 a.m. and doesn’t let out until 2:10 p.m., and out of those almost seven hours of school he only spends 15 to 20 minutes outside during recess, I’d say today was better than a draw.  Seems like he had a good day to me.
