New week. Yay!

My partner-in-poetry and I have not yet decided on a style of poetry for this week, so I just wrote about my day. Now I'll go tackle the ironing.

Shuttle Launch

The shuttle launches
Tomorrow, Saturday
So I see my husband
Very little today

First he works early,
Then home for rest,
And then in for the launch –
The part he likes best

All day I try to keep
The baby quiet
And the dog calm, it’s not
Easy, you should try it
