Picture poem

He had to show up sooner or later -- it's The Pigeon!

OK, I did buy the toy because I was so vastly amused, but it turns out it is Thomas' favorite crib toy. When he falls asleep, his arm is crooked around the pigeon's neck. When he wake up in the small hours of the morning, we very often hear Mo Willems squealing "Let me drive the bus!"

Pigeon

Silly pigeon
Of body blue
Squeeze his belly
And he’ll talk to you

No other toy
Raises such a fuss
By squealing
“Let me drive the bus!”
