October poem

Here is my Hallowe'en/October poem for today:

A black cat
Is just that:
A cat that is black
Not a reason to run or a cause for attack
Some kiss
Some hiss
All tease
And can have fleas
All are panthers in miniature
A household addition covered in its fur
A black cat
Is just that:
In our house a welcomed guest
Although I fear
It does appear
My sister's black cat is possessed
