October poem

I finished the cards
Completed the signs
Delivered the calligraphy
Mostly on time
We celebrated birthdays
And our anniversary too
With one trip to Disney
And two to the zoo
This month’s almost over
I sigh with relief
Then I remember –
Jeff’s birthday’s next week!
