My poem for the day was an Alexandrine -- twelve syllables per line and usually a rhyming scheme.
Today we found and brought home another kitten.
She is in this box with eyeholes. She can see you.
Listen, Buster. She sweetly sings. She wants a friend.
Stop hissing at the box. We know you’re lonely, too.
