upon a time, there was a Thomas named Thomas.
His real name was Thomas Jefferson Kirchel. When Thomas is ten, he’ll be a doctor. When Thomas is thirteen, he’ll be a teacher
so he can teach kids like Thomas. When
Thomas is twenty, he’ll be a dentist so he can fix teeth like George
Washington’s. When Thomas is old, like
fifty, he’ll be an astronaut and go into outer space. And one day, Thomas will be an author and an
illustrator – maybe when he is one hundred.
