Thomas' Third 436th Story

1.          436.           Once upon a time:  

It was America’s birthday. 

George Washington became president. 

He had white hair 

And a straight line mouth 

George Washington didn’t smile. 

Because his teeth hurt.

His wife was named Martha.

And she had black hair.

George loved Martha Washington

So they got married.

And I think that it was

The Fourth of July.

George Washington was brave

And he gave America it’s birthday

And that’s why we have

Ice cream and sparklers.
