Dear Ms. K –

Today T was not working, but he was playing.  Unless we are working one on one, he is not completing work or being serious.  Had to sit by teacher several times.

Dear Ms. X –

Sigh.  I miss the good old days when Kindergarten students weren’t expected to be serious, and when lessons were taught through play, and when the teachers knew what is normal behavior for a five-year-old child. 

I imagined you learned quite a bit from T by sitting next to him several times today.
