1.     Once upon a time, there was a puddle-pond.  It was empty.  The puddle-pond wasn’t for Thomas-swimming.  The puddle-pond wasn’t for Thomas-splashing.  The puddle-pond was for ducks.  But the ducks were gone.  And the puddle-pond was empty.
